Quick Cook Black Beans

The fast cooking time eliminates the need to soak them for hours or having to pressure cook them. These quick cooking beans are convenient for everyday use to whip up a quick and easy dish the family will love. Honeyville Quick Cook Black Beans are an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.
Shelf-Life: Stores for 10 to 15 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).
Instructions: Add 2 parts boiling water to 1 part beans, then cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook on simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, drain and serve.
Uses: Quick Cook Black Beans can be used to make burritos, pico de gallo, soups and any recipe calling for black beans.
Packaging: Quick Cook Black Beans are sealed air tight in a #10 can and weighs approximately 3 pounds. A case contains 6 #10 cans and weighs 18 pounds. Each can contains 19 servings. One serving size is ½ cup (72g).
