Honeyville’s Freeze Dried Organic Strawberries are organically grown, freshly harvested and naturally sweet for an exploding taste of fresh strawberry flavor. Freeze drying makes them light and crisp, which is great for eating them right out of the can as a snack or in a trail mix. They can also be rehydrated and added to your oatmeal, yogurt, salad or smoothie, and you can try them for your baking recipes that require sliced strawberries, including pies, muffins, cakes and more.

Shelf-Life: Stores for 10 to 15 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place). Once opened, it has an average shelf life of 12 to 18 months.

Instructions: Add 3 parts water to 1 part strawberry. Allow to hydrate for about 20 minutes or until fully rehydrated. Freeze Dried Strawberries can replace fresh prepared strawberries at a rate of 10 to 1. That means that each can is the equivalent of about 3.75 pounds of fresh strawberries.

Uses: Use to add directly to your favorite yogurts, oatmeals, or cereals. They can also be rehydrated in fruit recipes or eaten right out of the can as a healthy snack.

Packaging: Sealed air tight in a #10 can and weighs approximately 6 ounces. A case contains 6 #10 cans and weighs 2.25 pounds. Each can contains 34 servings. One serving size is ¼ cup. Once rehydrated, a serving size comes out to about ½ cup.
