Shelf-Life: Freeze Dried White Turkey will store for 10 to 15 years in a sealed can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place). Once opened, freeze dried meat should be used within 1 month if refrigerated, 1 week if not.
Instructions: Add 1 cup of boiling water to ½ cup of Freeze Dried Turkey. Stir once, cover and let stand for 5 to 7 minutes. Drain off excess water and use the turkey as you would use fresh turkey.
Uses: Freeze Dried White Turkey can be used to make casseroles, soups, pastas and more.
Packaging: Freeze Dried White Turkey is sealed air tight in a small can and weighs 5.4 ounces. The #10 can weighs approximately 1.5 pounds. A case contains 6 #10 cans and weighs 9 pounds. Each #10 can contains 24 servings and the small can has 6 servigns. One serving size is ½ cup. Once rehydrated, a serving size comes out to about ½ cup.
