Shelf-Life: Freeze Dried Beef Dices will store for 10 to 15 years in an unopened sealed can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place). Once opened, freeze dried meat should be used within 1 month if refrigerated, 1 week if not.
Instructions: Add 1 cup of boiling water to ½ cup of Freeze Dried Beef. Stir once, cover and let stand for 5 to 7 minutes. Drain off excess water and use in your recipes.

Packaging: Sealed air tight in a small can that weights 6.7 ounces. The #10 can weighs approximately 1.5 pounds. A case contains 6 #10 cans and weighs 9 pounds. Each #10 can contains 28 servings while the small cans have 8 servings. One serving size is ½ cup. Once rehydrated, a serving size comes out to about 3/4 cup.
